Blackjack games are played at all Sun International casinos. When it comes to Blackjack, your objective is to draw a hand of cards which has a value closer to 21 than that of the dealer, without going bust (over 21). Blackjack comes in a few variations:
| Blackjack Switch The object of the game is for the player to draw two hands of cards which have a value closer to 21 than that of the dealer without going "bust" i.e. over 21. |
| Blackjack Perfect Pairs Perfect Pairs Blackjack is a variation of the standard Blackjack game that allows the players to place an additional bet to cover the possibility of the first two cards dealt, being a pair. A Perfect Pairs bet may only be placed on a Perfect Pairs Blackjack table. |
| Blackjack House Money House Money is a side bet that makes the game of Blackjack even more exciting. The House Money side bet pays a basic payout on the player's 2-card starting hand, with an option to add these winnings to the original Blackjack bet. |
INSURANCE
If the dealer's first card is an Ace, players may insure their bets against the dealer receiving Blackjack. This means that the player can place a bet, no more than half the original bet, in front of the betting box in the section marked Insurance. If the dealer gets Blackjack, the Insurance bet paid off at 2 to 1 (which covers the original bet). If the dealer does not get Blackjack the Insurance bet is lost and the game continues as normal.
