Members have the option of exchanging their annual timeshare usage for a hotel stay at selected Sun International properties, subject to hotel availability. Terms & Conditions

Benefits:

  1. The Sun Vacation Club Membership Benefits are valid for members with active Sun Vacation Club memberships only.
  2. The Management of Sun International Vacation Club Sales (Pty) Ltd hereby records that it shall be entitled to amend the benefits and pricing thereof in its sole and unfettered discretion at any time without prior notice or consultation.
    1. This includes updating these terms and conditions
  3. The benefits and promotions offered cannot be booked in conjunction with any other Sun Vacation Club or Sun International promotion or special offers, unless otherwise advertised.
  4. Membership accounts that are on hold due to Levies and (or) Sales outstanding will not be able to make use of the Sun Vacation Club Membership Benefits on offer.
  5. Members must present their Sun Vacation Club Membership card and in person, to qualify for the promotional benefits offered at the various Sun International properties.
  6. Sun International reserves the right to request for a Sun Vacation Club member to produce a copy of their driver’s card or passport when redeeming the benefits.
  7. The benefits offered to members are not transferrable, and may not be sold unless otherwise advertised at the time. A complete list of benefits, which are subject to amendments without notification, is available on the Sun Vacation Club Members website.
  8. The value of the benefit (s) cannot be redeemed for cash.
  9. Sun Vacation Club is not obligated to remind Sun Vacation Club members to utilise the benefits offered. 

Card:

  1. The Sun Vacation Club Membership cards are issued to the main member only.
    1. In the case of a membership being under a Company or Trust, only the nominated individual as per the signed contract with Sun Vacation Club, will receive the membership card and be entitled to the benefits offered.
    2. In the case of a joint membership, only the individuals listed as per the signed contract with Sun Vacation Club, will receive the membership card and be entitled to the benefits offered.
  2. Should a member lose their card and require a new card, a nominal fee of R50 will apply with the issue of a replacement card.
  3. The Management of Sun International Vacation Club Sales (Pty) LTD reserves the right to amend the card replacement fee at its own discretion without prior notice or consultation.
  4. No Spouse or family cards will be issued.
  5. Cards will only be issued to a member if their membership sales account complies with their sales contract payment terms
  6. To enable Sun Vacation Club to provide premium benefits to members, it requires up-to-date and correct personal information of its members. Personal information includes the prescribed information falling within the definitions of personal or special personal information as set out in the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 ("Protected Personal Information"). The Protected Personal Information of Sun Vacation Club members which Sun International may process include the following:
    1. Names, identity numbers, contact details, addresses, occupations;
    2. Preferences and opinions
    3. Carry out statistical and other analyses to identify trends and/or develop new products and services.
  7. Sun Vacation Club members accept that Sun Vacation Club takes reasonable and practical steps to safeguard Protected Personal Information in its possession. To the fullest extent permissible by law, Sun Vacation Club members hereby indemnify and holds harmless Sun Vacation Club, its employees and agents against any liability, damages and/or legal action whatsoever and howsoever arising, including negligence on the part of Sun Vacation Club, its employees or agents and Sun Vacation Club shall not accept liability for any damages or any type of loss suffered by Sun Vacation Club members when utilizing the Sun Vacation Club membership benefits.
  8. SVC members are required to notify Sun Vacation Club via members.sivc@suninternational.com of any card loss immediately when this occurs.
  9. On acceptance of the SVC membership card, the member acknowledges and hereby agrees to all the above mentioned terms and conditions directly relating to the card and the SVC member benefits offered.

Conference and Meetings Offer

  1. Quote Promo code “SUN VACATION MEMBER BENEFITS” and Sun Vacation Club Membership number when making a reservation. The offer cannot be booked in conjunction with any other promotional offers.
  2. Existing bookings for the validity date does not qualify for the offer. The offer excludes food & beverage, gratuities, décor and any additional AV Equipment required. 10% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the offer. Present your card and in person to qualify for the promotional offer discount . The rates are net & non-commissionable.

Mankwe GAMETRACKERS

  1. Sun Vacation Club members must produce their membership cards, together with proof of identification in the form of an ID, Passport or valid Driver’s License to redeem the discount. Failure to comply will result in full rate being charged.
  2. This offer may not be redeemed in conjunction with any other promotions or special offers by Mankwe GAMETRACKERS. 

Nando's Sun City

  1. Offer available for instore and call & collect only.
  2. Offer is not available on the Nando's App or the delivery platform. 

Hotel Exchange Programme

  1. Rates: Rates & VAT are subject to change without notice.
  2. Conditions: Includes breakfast for 2 adults only. Children's breakfasts to be settled at the hotel. Bookings are available within 30 days of arrival, subject to availbility under 80% and to a maximum of 2 rooms per night overall. Minimum stay restrictions may apply over weekends and / or long weekends / public holidays. A booking fee will be charged for changes made per reservation.
  3. Cancellation: To avoid a cancellation penalty, a reservation must be cancelled 7 days or more prior to the arrival date.
  4. Cancellation penalty: Is equivalent to your Sun Vacation Club annual usage.
  5. Taxes: South africa - rates include 15% VAT.
  6. Tourism levy: 1% tourism bed levy per room included in rates.
  7. Currency: South African Rands (ZAR).

The hotel exchange offer is valid for active Sun Vacation Club members only, as per the Rules of the Sun Vacation Club Association Benefits.
