Things to do in Port Alfred Eastern Cape

There is a small reserve where the Great Fish River meets the Indian Ocean. During low tide, a special area of mudflat is exposed where thousands of wading birds congregate to feed.

The tidal Kowie River in Port Alfred offers pleasure cruises, fishing, water skiing, canoeing and bird watching. Deep-sea fishing and diving charters are available too.
